Overview

The Apply PO Missing Tag to Invoice workflow automatically tags invoices that are missing a required purchase order (PO) number. This helps your team quickly identify and resolve missing PO issues, ensuring smoother processing and faster collections.

How It Works

  • Set Workspace filters to define when a PO number is required (e.g., based on customer fields or tags).

  • Select the tag you want to apply to the invoice (e.g., "PO Missing" or "PO Required").

  • Optionally, choose to create a task for the assigned person on the invoice when the tag is applied.

Setup Steps

  1. Go to the **Workflows Gallery**.

  2. Find **Apply PO Missing Tag to Invoice** and click **Use Workflow**.

  3. Define your Workspace filters to specify when a PO is required.

  4. Select the tag you want to apply.

  5. (Optional) Enable "Also create task" if you want a task automatically created.

  6. Click **Publish Workflow**.

Notes

  • Ensure your Workspace filters accurately reflect when a PO number should be present.

  • You can name the tag anything you prefer (e.g., "PO Missing," "PO Required").

  • Creating a task can help drive quicker follow-up on missing POs.
