Overview

The Timeline is an activity feed inside Tesorio that displays a chronological log of actions taken on a record. It provides a complete history of what happened, who did it, when, and why—without needing to piece together information from multiple places.

Timeline is located in the Invoice Drawer under the Timeline tab.

Event Types Tracked

Invoice Events:

  • Matched or unmatched from purchase orders

  • Invoice approved, rejected, or paid in an AP Portal

  • Invoice submitted to a Supplier Portal

  • Promise to pay added, changed, or removed

  • Company expected pay date added, changed, or removed

  • AP Portal promise to pay added

  • Notes added via AP Portal or directly

  • Email drafts created or sent

  • Assignee added or removed

  • Customer linked or unlinked to purchase order

  • Invoice matched to purchase order line

  • Tasks created or completed

Email Thread Events:

  • All email activity related to the thread

  • Actions taken by users or AI agents

  • Status changes and updates

What Each Timeline Entry Shows

Each entry displays:

  • Icon: Color-coded by event type for quick visual scanning

  • Action text: Clear description of what happened

  • Actor: Who performed the action (person name, email, or system actor like "Tesorio AI")

  • Timestamp: Formatted as "MMM D, YYYY h:mm A"

  • Related objects: Clickable links to invoices, purchase orders, tags, payments, or email threads

  • AI Reasoning badge: Sparkle icon with tooltip when an AI agent performed the action.

  • Collapsible content: Note body, email body, or submission values (depending on event type)
