To ensure secure, uninterrupted access to your Ariba account for invoice processing and PO syncing, Tesorio recommends creating a dedicated user account specifically for our integration. This allows us to reliably connect to your Ariba instance without interfering with other users or workflows.
1. Log into Ariba
Go to https://supplier.ariba.com and sign in with your admin credentials.
2. Open the User Management Settings
Click your profile icon (initials) in the upper right.
Select Settings > Users.
3. Create a New Role
In the Manage Roles tab, click the “+” button.
Name the role: Tesorio_submissions
Enable the following permissions:
✅ Access Proposals and Contracts
✅ Child Account Access
✅ Contract Access
✅ Customer Relationships
✅ Inbox and Order Access
✅ Invoice Generation
✅ Outbox Access
✅ Permission to Download Current Transactions
✅ Supplier Treasury Agent
Click Save.
4. Add a New User
Go to the Manage Users tab.
Click the “+” button to add a user.
Fill in:
Username (email format)
First Name, Last Name
Email Address
Assign the Tesorio_submissions role you created.
Under Customer Access, select “All Customers.”
Click Save.
5. User Receives Invitation
The user will get an email from SAP Ariba with login instructions and a temporary password. They’ll be prompted to update it upon first login.
6. Enter Credentials in Tesorio
Open Tesorio and navigate to Administration > Integrations and locate the Supplier Portal section. Under Ariba Credentials, select Add Credentials
