10/7/25 Tesorio Release Announcement

Summary of new features, improvements, and bug fixes available in Tesorio beginning October 7th, 2025

Updated this week

Enhancements

SFTP handling for Flat File Cash App Customers

Cash App Customers can now set up scheduled automatic exports of Pending Payment workspaces to SFTP directories. This option follows the scheduled workspace format and is available where these reports were previously downloaded directly onto a User's local desktop. The ability to download the file directly has been preserved if a User does not wish to automate the export via SFTP.

Scheduled Workspaces are now available for Credit Memo & Customer Purchase Order workspaces

Customers can now schedule automatic export of both these workspace types via SFTP or direct email sending. Visit the Tesorio Help Center to learn more about Scheduled Workspaces.

Improved Email Matching

Multiple improvements have been made to the way Tesorio matches inbound email traffic entering the system. These are additive to the existing matching currently performed on the Email subject line, which is still in place.

  • The system now extracts & matches inbound emails to invoices if an Invoice number is identified in the email body or attachments.

  • Replies to emails originating from Tesorio always match correctly

  • When an email is sent to an alias (e.g., "ar@company.com) that forwards to multiple accounts connected to Tesorio, the system now reuses the first successful match across all copies of that message.

  • In addition to Invoice numbers, PO numbers & Salesforce IDs will also be used to match emails.

  • If the system can't link to a specific Invoice but identifies contacts on a single Customer (including Invoice contacts), the email will be linked to that Customer. If contacts are on multiple customers, the email won't be matched to any Customer.

  • Matching will now ignore 4-digit Years when referenced in the subject line (e.g., 1999). While edge cases may arise where a 4-digit invoice number is missed, eliminating this matching from the logic will improve overall matching based on analyzed data.

Aging Trend Widget

A new widget is now available in the Dashboard widget gallery, outlining aging bucket trends over time. This view has historically been a report Tesorio Support has used when performing Quarterly Business Reviews with Customers, and it is now available directly to Customers within the application.

Updates to Salesforce Connection Error Handling: The application will now display clear error messages during the setup process for better troubleshooting. Specifically, Invalid Credentials and a lack of permissions required for Contacts or Accounts will be highlighted.

Expanded Payment Method Support for Intacct Customers: Previously, only payment methods that had been used in existing transactions were displayed in the dropdown menu (EFT, Credit Card, and Printed Check). The following methods have now been added: Cash, Online Charge Card, and Online ACH Debit.

Updated Inbox Label sections: Label/Folder structure has been updated to just three clear, non-overlapping sections:

  1. Inbox: All threads that are not archived (no other filters)

  2. Sent: All threads where the first message was sent by the User/Campaign

  3. Archived: All threads that have been archived

The "Unread" & "Needs Your Reply" folders have been removed. Unread status can be managed via the existing filter functionality. These changes have been made to better align with existing email system methodology.

Enhanced SFTP Connection Handling & Retry Logic: Tesorio has implemented significant improvements to our SFTP connection handling to address intermittent authentication failures and connection issues that were causing sync disruptions for customers. The system now automatically retries SFTP syncs even when credentials have been temporarily marked as invalid, preventing permanent sync failures due to transient connection issues.

Bank Transaction Number support for Cash Application Exports: There is now support for extracting and exporting bank transaction numbers from BAI2 files, enabling seamless integration with Oracle and other ERP systems.

Bugs

Workspaces

Tag improvements: Resolved display issues preventing Users from seeing complete tag lists (when extensive), as well as a problem with sorting on Latest Tag Date.

Statement Download Loading Issue: Resolved an issue where statement downloads were not loading for larger statement exports. Statements with more complex filters applied will now be more performant.

Custom Field Filter Functionality: Updates have been made to certain Custom Field types that Customers were attempting to use to filter workspaces.

Terms Import Error Handling: Corrected import failures that occurred when Terms fields were mapped but left blank in flat file uploads. Empty Term fields will now not result in an import failure.

Improved NetSuite contact sync reliability: Contract creation now prioritizes Tesorio-side operations first, with graceful handling of existing NetSuite contacts, and more transparent error reporting when sync issues occur. Specifically, NetSuite allows for Contact creation without the same required fields as Tesorio, such as an email address.

Email

Gmail Extension Manual Linking: Fixed manual customer linking functionality in the Gmail extension when emails are not automatically matched. A new version of the Tesorio Gmail extension has been published to the Chrome store, Version 0.3.0.

Email Account Disconnection: Resolved an issue that was disconnecting team email accounts when attempting to fetch an email message that did not exist at the provider level (i.e., Gmail or Outlook). The provider returned a generalized error, which Tesorio interpreted as "Account Disconnected," and invalidated the credentials. This error is now logged and will not cause credentials to be invalidated.

Email Thread Update Failures: Fixed email thread update failures due to not saving/displaying internal emails within an existing thread. Tesorio will now preserve emails between internal contacts within the bounds of an overall thread that also includes external contacts.

Gmail Extension Error Display: Resolved error messages appearing in the Gmail extension for some customers.

Inbox

Inbox Label Folder counts incorrect: Upon release of the Inbox folder structure enhancements, label counts did not reflect all changes. This was resolved immediately.

Email Forwarding Content: Resolved an issue where forwarding emails from the inbox only included the last email in the thread. This action will now persist the entire historical chain in the forwarding action.

Integrations

Custom Field Preservation During Sync: Fixed an issue where some Tesorio-created custom field values were being updated to Blank or Null post data syncs.

Salesforce Source of Truth Logic: Resolved a bug preventing Salesforce from being set as the source of truth for Customer records, instead of other ERPs. This still allows Invoice data to be sourced from other ERPs, like NetSuite.

SFTP Sync Failures: Resolved an issue where SFTP syncs would permanently fail after temporary authentication errors or connection disruptions, particularly affecting customers using external SFTP servers like Synovus. Files now continue syncing automatically once connection issues are resolved.

Various ERP sync restarts: The Tesorio team has resolved several one-off sync failures for multiple customers across all ERPs. Sync failures can occur for several reasons, and these were general restarts, not stemming from anything distinctly systemic.

Payment Portal

Credit Card processing issue: Fixed an issue where credit card payments were failing for non-USD currencies and specific account configurations due to incorrect payment method parameters sent to Stripe. This was due to introductory back-end work being handled as we upgrade our ACH API integration with Stripe.

Settings & Configuration

Authentication flow issues: Recent upgrades to Tesorio's front end briefly impacted the authentication flows for Slack, Plaid, OAuth, and our AI workflow.

Workflows

Workflow UI changes: Fixed an issue that was causing the duplicate "sub-tabs" for "Runs" & "Issues". These duplicates were removed in favor of the top-level tabs for these sections.

Workflows not tagging invoices: Resolved an issue where certain Workflow automations were not appropriately tagging Invoices.
