Workday Calculated Fields in Tesorio

This guide explains how Workday calculated fields are supported in Tesorio

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Calculated fields in Workday allow you to expand standard Workday objects (e.g., Customers, Invoices) with additional data points specific to your business needs. You can use these fields in Tesorio to help you bring additional, tailored data into your Tesorio workspace.

Supported Custom Fields in Tesorio

(Tesorio calls them custom fields)

Tesorio supports custom fields for the following Workday objects:

  1. Customer Records

    • Examples: Customer Service Representative, Customer Category, Salesforce Account ID (to link your Workday and Salesforce accounts).

  2. Invoice Records

    • Examples: External Invoice Reference, Customer Tax IDs.

Using Custom Fields in Tesorio

Ensure the Workday integration user (e.g., tesorio-integration) has the necessary permissions to view and query the custom fields

Field Activation: Custom fields must be activated to show in Tesorio. You can enable the fields you would like to see in Tesorio following the steps here.

Please note that the custom field values will update in Tesorio during the next sync.

Known Limitations

  • Custom Objects Custom Fields: While supported in Workday, these are not fully supported in Tesorio's integration.

  • Custom Fields with Prompts: Workday's "calculated fields with prompts" are not supported.
