Configure Contact Settings

Determine the global contact settings and source priority for contacts syncing into Tesorio.

Updated over a week ago

Overview

When you have multiple connections with Tesorio such as Salesforce and your ERP, you can decide which integration to source or prioritize contacts from.

Tesorio also allows you to configure whether or not you want your contacts to be on the customer or invoice level and if you want to automatically add contacts to Tesorio when new email addresses are added to emails sent from Tesorio.

To access Contact settings, navigate to Administration > Company > Contacts.

For more information on how Contacts work and are structured, please visit our articles on Contacts.

Contact Source

Select how you want your contacts to sync into Tesorio. If you have more than one integration, you can choose to use contacts from one or both while determining the order in which they should sync into the system.

Select where contacts should import from and if there should be an order of priority for syncing in contacts from ERP and CRM.

Importing Contacts

Determine whether you want all invoices for a company to go to the same contacts/recipients or if you'd prefer to be able to choose recipients on an invoice-by-invoice basis. For more information on this, please review Tesorio Contact Structure.

Create Contacts

In the event that you email someone that is not a contact in Tesorio you can decide whether or not those email addresses are automatically created as contacts. If you decide to create contacts this way, they will be created with a Tesorio contact tag. For more information on contact tags, review Contact Tags in Tesorio.
