Given the relationship between custom fields, workspaces, email templates, and campaigns, custom fields unlock powerful flexibility across Tesorio—from personalizing communication to driving campaign automations and refining data views through filters and sorting. Together, these features create a highly adaptable system where your workflow defines the use case.

Create a Custom Field in Tesorio

Tesorio-created custom fields can be created on an invoice or a customer level. To create a custom field, navigate to Administration > Company > Custom Fields.

Make sure to give your custom field a clear, descriptive name—since it will appear in many areas of the application, it should be easily understood by anyone using it. Once named, select the appropriate field type you'd like to create.

Add Field to an Invoice or Customer

Once your field is created, you can add it to a customer or invoice. This allows you to sort and filter your workspace by this field, but also allows you to create campaign audiences and campaign automations (if the field is a date field).

To add it to a customer or invoice, open the record you want to add it to, and click Add Custom Field and add it to the record.
