Tesorio's integration with Slack enables users to access Tesorio data and collaborate with internal teams more efficiently. Slack users can use quick commands to retrieve Tesorio customer and invoice records, while Tesorio users can easily share information with any authenticated channel or individual within a connected Slack workspace.

The Slack user can use the Reply to Tesorio option to record a note for the associated record in Tesorio, allowing users to collaborate about customers and invoices.
Important Points:
Slack users must have a Tesorio account to pull Tesorio information from Slack
Tesorio users can share invoice or customer data with non-Tesorio users or channels in Slack.
Channels must have the Tesorio app added by an authenticated user to appear as a destination option.

Pulling Tesorio Data in Slack:
Use the following commands to retrieve Invoice or Customer records in Slack:
/tesorio invoice inv123
/tesorio customer Sun Microsystems
If the full customer name or invoice number isn't entered, Tesorio will match and return the first result.
Adding a note using "Reply to Tesorio"
Step 1
Type a message and Save:
The message will appear in the Notes section of this customer record in Tesorio:

Nested in the upper right of an Invoice or Customer drawer, there is now a "Share to Slack" option.
Step 2
Clicking this will open a small drop-down from which a User can select a Slack user or channel to send the informational block. Please note that only channels with the Tesorio App added will be displayed as an option. Learn more about adding the Tesorio App to a Slack channel here.
Step 3
Any messages shared via this method will automatically include an informational summary of the associated invoice or customer record.
In addition to the informational summary and included message, the Slack user receiving this message will also be able to leverage the "Reply to Tesorio" functionality and add a note to this record if they have a valid Tesorio account.
